playing around with video

I haven't done as much video work in 2007, but there are a few things in the works or with bits of footage.... more to come.

Side Question: Isn't this kind of web page obsolete in the age of YouTube, etc.? Well, maybe, but probably a dozen people a month even visit this page, so the bandwidth isn't a problem. And I sort of like keeping things I've worked on all in one place, and somewhere that doesn't have ads. And hey, isn't having a personal web page "obsolete" anyway?

If the footage is turned into a short film in the next few weeks, hey, maybe that will even be uploaded here too!

I was just a grip and extra in this film, which a friend got me involved in. A slick production that included using a tandem bike for over-the-shoulder shots.. (web site | trailer)

YES [35min]

For my birthday in 2006, I thought it would be fun to organize a film festival ("YES") and get my friends to submit short films. It was a great success, with a wide variety of films. Most are not online, but you can check out the program.

ZOMBIACHI! [18min] by Totally Doable Productions
(trailer available in Windows Media or Quicktime)

Zombie mariachis on the loose! Campy horror! $20 plumbing-pipe steadicam! Nonlinear narrative structure! We (Totally Doable) shot and edited this in the summer 2005. Thanks everyone who came to the premiere and later showings for all the support. We made a DVD too, including extra footage, bloopers, commentary track, etc.
